Coach Taylor has been the President of the Florida Stealth organization since August 2015. As the Stealth’s founder, Taylor was fundamental in creating a competitive travel team based in the Ponte Vedra area.

Coach Taylor spent eight years as a Division I college coach at Jacksonville University, St. John’s University and Providence College.  She took a small hiatus, from July 2011-August 2012, from college coaching when she spent a year honing her training skills as the National Softball Director at Frozen Ropes, a softball/baseball training center whose headquarters are in Chester, New York.

At Frozen Ropes, she was the lead softball instructor for over 300 students. Her duties included spearheading the company’s College Bound Program, which assisted high school players through the recruiting process. She also coordinated the softball travel teams and was the head coach of the 16 and under Frozen Ropes Force.

During her time as a college coach, Taylor worked closely with Big East Player of the Year, Kacee Cox (St. John’s University), and A-Sun Player of the Year Sarah Simon (Jacksonville University).

Her playing days included a stellar four-year career from 2001-05 at Seton Hall University.

She slammed 18 home runs as a freshman, and was the NCAA home run statistical champion. At the beginning of her sophomore year, in 2002, Taylor was invited to the USA Olympic Tryout in Chula Vista, CA.

She closed out her career as one of the top hitters in NCAA history. She is the Pirates’ all-time leader in home runs with 59, a mark that ties her for 18th on the NCAA all-time list. She also had 180 hits and a program-best 160 RBI, was named Big East Player of the Year in 2005 and was a three-time All Big East and All Northeast Region selection.

Five times in her career, Taylor was named Big East Player of the Week and was Seton Hall’s Female Athlete of the Year on three separate occasions.

Taylor’s softball career ended as a part of the National Pro Fastpitch’s (NPF) NY/NJ Juggernaut. She was the NPF’s Player of the Week twice.

Taylor graduated from Seton Hall University (South Orange, NJ) with a bachelor’s degree in finance in 2005 and subsequently earned her MBA from St. Johns University (Jamaica, NY). She was inducted into the Seton Hall Athletic Hall of Fame in June of 2019. Her father, Jeff Taylor, spent eight years as the special assistant to the General Manager for the Cincinnati Reds and scouted for the New York Yankees, Texas Rangers, Baltimore Orioles and Toronto Blue Jays.
